Eagle River Golf Course

This tight course was built within a wooded area. Water hazards come into play on six holes. The signature hole is #12, a 481-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot past the water on the left, then an approach shot to a very undulating green. This club provides discounted cart fees for seniors.

Northwood Golf Club

This course was cut out of the woods, so there is only one fairway visible at any one time. The course was rated as the 4th best in the state by the United States Golf Association. This design includes two signature holes, each featuring island greens. A new log clubhouse opened in 1988.

Pinewood Country Club

This hilly course features well-manicured greens. Water hazards come into play on at least five different occasions. The fairways vary in width.

Plum Lake Golf Club

This scenic course has a view overlooking Lake Plum. There are numerous mature trees throughout the entire design, but the fairways are wide open and the terrain is predominantly flat. A water hazard does come into play on hole #7, and sand bunkers come into play throughout the course. The greens are small, flat and slow. The signature hole is #4, a 146-yard, par 3, which has a sunken green.

This course was carved out of a heavily-wooded red and white pine forest. The greens are very large, undulating and fast. Water hazards come into play on four holes including our signature hole, #5 which has two ponds to challenge your golfing skills.

Timber Ridge Golf Club

This very scenic and wooded course went public in 1997 after operating as a private club since 1977. Its back nine is more difficult than its front nine. However, all the greens are undulating and fast. The signature hole is #16, a 170-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a pond to the green. Water hazards also come into play on three other holes.

This links-style course is nestled in a wooded area. The signature hole is #4, a 513-yard, par 5, which is designed in the shape of a horseshoe. Water hazards come into play frequently, including the Trout River that borders some of the holes.
